Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Trainee Proposals Engineer to join the Chemical and Wastewater Solutions team. You will support the preparation and delivery of detailed tender submissions and assist with financial and commercial management throughout tender stages, helping maintain cost performance on UK projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in engineering or related field.
• Understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proposal management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on opportunities relating to proposals, tendering and contract review.
• Develop proposal and tendering strategies and delivery plans for new opportunities.
• Review tender documents for scope, risks, complexity and feedback.
• Ensure tender documents are dispatched to meet submission deadlines.
• Price tenders in accordance with framework schedules of rates and prices, if required.
• Manage delivery of completed tender pack to the client.
