An established industry player is seeking a dynamic technical sales professional with a mechanical bias. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the entire customer journey, from initial inquiries to final proposal preparation. Your mechanical knowledge will be essential in understanding structural limitations and assisting with cost estimations. This is a technical sales / proposals position, with a mechanical bias based in Ely, Cambridgeshire and offering full-time, permanent hours with a competitive salary and benefits package.
The role will be contributing to all aspects of the customer journey, from initial enquiry to project solutions, costings and the final proposal preparation.
You'll be pivotal in turning an opportunity into an actual sale and with your mechanical knowledge, be able to contribute to the understanding of the structural limitations of solutions and assist in the costings of such structures.

The role is primarily office based but will also require travel within the UK and overseas to attend site visits and customer meetings.

Hours:
Monday-Friday - 39 hours per week with flexibility over start/finish times between 7am-6pm.
