Job summary

Charters Estate Agents is seeking a Property Relationship Manager for the Worthing office to manage a landlord and tenant portfolio from maintenance through to compliance and tenancy matters.

You will build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors, coordinate repairs and inspections and ensure safety standards are met. The role offers an OTE up to £29,500 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in property environment is advantageous.
• Customer-focused approach with strong service orientation.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence handling conversations and managing expectations.
• Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
• Interest in property and willingness to develop knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage property portfolio, keep records accurate and up to date.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Keep properties legally compliant and safety standards on track.
• Arrange and attend inspections and follow up actions promptly.
• Handle tenant queries and complaints professionally.
• Manage tenancy notices within required timescales.
• Prioritise competing issues and keep everyone informed.
