Job summary

Vertu Motors plc is recruiting a Project Manager to deliver construction projects across our nationwide dealership portfolio. Based at our Gateshead head office, you will travel regularly to sites and work with internal teams and external contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes.

We value strong project management skills, knowledge of building contracts, and a track record of retail or commercial property success. A professional approach and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in project delivery.
• Background in Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying.
• Experience delivering retail or commercial property projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and building standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of construction projects from tender through to handover.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
• Manage refurbishment, construction and small works across the dealership network.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors for delivery.
• Monitor budgets and timelines with strong financial control.
• Support continuous improvement of property standards across the estate.
