As one of the largest pub groups in the UK, Stonegate is continually investing in our pubs, bars, and venues nationwide. Based in the Central region, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver excellent standards of property management across a range of our managed properties. As Project Manager, you'll develop strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of investment schemes across various retail formats, as well as providing maintenance and compliance support to maintain value.

Key to the Project Manager role is ensuring all investment is completed to a high standard and that best value is achieved for all activities, including a strong approach to cost management. Above all, you will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

You'll need to be an experienced Property Project Manager with a proven track record in a multi-site retail environment, ideally with a passion for pubs and the hospitality industry. You'll use your knowledge to challenge contract rates and construction methodologies throughout your projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager include:

1. Capital Investment

  • Working with operational colleagues to deliver investments that meet business needs, ensuring projects are accurately briefed, scoped, approved, and delivered on time and within budget, with appropriate updates to administration systems upon completion.
  • Adopting a proactive approach to investment delivery to ensure best value and minimize business closure periods.
  • Ensuring all investments are procured in line with company policy, incorporating existing procurement deals where appropriate.
  • Considering sustainability in significant capital investment projects and including assessments to improve decision-making.
  • Where required, leading and championing specific formats or investment initiatives.
  • Monitoring post-audit and ROI performance of all investment activities, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Being flexible to undertake trade visits to understand the retail environment, including evenings and weekends if needed.

2. Transition Management

  • Proactively managing the transition of sites from L&T into a managed format, ensuring a standard of repair/minimum condition is confirmed with colleagues working on leased and tenanted estates prior to transfer, minimizing business closure periods, and ensuring accurate project costings.

3. Condition Management

  • Providing on-site support for significant maintenance activities and approving quotations above a set threshold. Works should be inspected upon completion or during site visits for other reasons.

What's in it for you?

  • 25 days annual leave
  • Annual Leave Purchase Scheme
  • Pension
  • Vitality Healthcare
  • The Stonegate discount card offering discounts across our managed estate
  • Online benefits portal with discounts across the High Street and other retailers
