Qualifications

Job description

WorkWave is seeking an experienced Professional Services Project Manager with a proven track record in implementing Time & Attendance, Contract Management, Payroll & Finance software.

The key purpose of a Project Manager is to ensure a project successfully moves from planning to completion, staying on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, while managing resources and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for success, excellent organizational, communication, demonstration, and documentation skills, along with strong customer-facing abilities and previous project management experience.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the UK (remote).

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams, and customers
  • Define or analyze project scope, impact, resources, and outcomes, gaining customer approval
  • Develop project plans and schedule activities
  • Assign work, share information, delegate responsibilities, and support the project team
  • Ensure commitments and deadlines are met by working closely with project teams
  • Communicate project progress and outcomes to relevant parties
  • Address risks and issues promptly, escalating when necessary
  • Use appropriate standards, systems, tools, and techniques in project management
  • Maintain and control project documentation during and after the project
  • Close projects to enable revenue recognition and review lessons learned
  • Track work progress and keep the team focused on tasks
  • Prepare weekly/monthly project status updates for customers and senior management
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, preferably with IT (software) & SAAS projects
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2
  • Successful delivery of projects on budget and on time
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in commercial decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with teams
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Projects, Smartsheets, MS Office, G-Suite)
