Hybrid
Madison Berkeley is working with an established independent residential agency to recruit a Property & Portfolio Manager for its growing Central London team managing homes across some of Central London’s most established residential estates.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their portfolio, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and seeing matters through from start to finish.
You’ll manage approximately 100 residential properties across Soho and Bloomsbury, working with a mix of private landlords and established London estate clients. With the properties concentrated in one patch, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your portfolio properly and build strong relationships on the ground.
Reporting to the Head of Property Management, you’ll take responsibility for the full management lifecycle, supported by colleagues across lettings, operations and finance.
The department is growing, with investment in property management technology and automation. There’s scope to contribute ideas, improve processes and help shape how the portfolio is managed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Must have around four years’ residential property management experience, with a track record of independently managing your own portfolio.
Central London experience would be particularly useful, whether gained within a residential agency, managing agent or estate management team. Above all, you’ll be organised, confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors, and comfortable taking responsibility for resolving issues.
A sound understanding of residential compliance and legislation is essential, alongside confidence handling rents, deposits, invoices and budgets. An ARLA Propertymark qualification would be advantageous, although candidates keen to work towards it are also welcome.
The role is based in Soho, ideally with four days a week in the office.
