Working pattern: Monday to Friday 0830 – 1700

Salary: Competitive

Job Description:

The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of developments in the Reading area. Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Carry out development inspections as necessary to ensure Chaneys and Trinity Property Group’s responsibilities are met.
  • Effectively manage the relationship with the customer (responding to customer queries, attending meetings, working with customer groups, and ensuring complaints are resolved effectively).
  • Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure accurate financial management of the development.
  • Source, appoint, and manage competent trade persons to undertake works across the portfolio.
  • Ensure all works undertaken by contractors are of suitable quality and cost-effective.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety and Industry legislation is adhered to.
  • Ensure all monthly reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support other colleagues when necessary.
  • Effectively manage ad-hoc projects (such as redecorations) as required.
  • Attend Chaneys office as and when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in the residential property management sector.
  • A proven track record in customer service.
  • Must have a full UK driving license (maximum 6 points).
  • Good negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • A proven track record of budgeting and account management.
  • An understanding of leasehold property legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
