Job description

Clinical Trial Vendor Manager - Novartis Dedicated (home-based anywhere in Europe)

Responsibilities
  1. Provides vendor oversight and management at a trial level to ensure all vendors deliver quality work on time.
  2. Oversees all vendor activities post-study start-up, excluding categories managed by Vendor Start-Up Managers.
  3. Drives and monitors vendor activities related to site activations.
  4. Manages and documents vendor performance issues and risks, escalating as necessary.
  5. Coordinates vendor study deliverables supporting database lock (DBL) and study close-out.
Additional Key Accountabilities
  1. Ensures vendor service excellence at the study level.
  2. Maintains vendor KPI and KQI dashboards at the study level.
  3. Monitors site readiness and manages risk maps with contingency plans.
  4. Controls ESP costs and manages site readiness documentation.
Key Skillsets
  • Excellent vendor management skills.
  • Robust understanding of service categories and their deliverables throughout the study lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of clinical operations processes.
  • Strong partnering, project management, and communication skills.
