A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT day in the life of a Business Development Manager at FIRST ONSITE is dynamic and centered around building and nurturing relationships with insurance companies and independent adjusters. It begins with a deep dive into the insurance arena, understanding claims strategies, and supply chain management for insurers, loss adjusters, and brokers. Our Business Development Manager stays ahead by maintaining a detailed understanding of designated client accounts and prospective clients, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date.

Our Business Development Manager keeps a finger on the pulse of the company's products and services, competitors, and relevant organizations. Actively pursuing business opportunities within existing and prospective clients is a key part of the day, acting as the main point of contact for designated client accounts. This involves responding to insurance inquiries, general queries, information requests, and complaints effectively, in line with contractual frameworks, client expectations, and requirements.

Maximizing contract revenue is crucial, and our Manager ensures clients are fully aware and educated on the launch of new products and services. They also assist with the development and implementation of new offerings where required.Working in close conjunction with the Marketing team, our Business Development Manager assists with relevant marketing activities and events, providing regular client feedback.
