What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Oversee Remote Operations: Manage the day-to-day remote operations for a portfolio of Airbnb listings, ensuring smooth turnovers, readiness for guest arrivals, and adherence to listing standards.
- Guest Communication & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, providing check-in/check-out instructions, addressing questions or concerns during their stay, and managing post-stay reviews to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and ensure the timely resolution of property-related issues (e.g., maintenance, cleaning discrepancies, amenity problems) by coordinating remotely with local cleaners, handymen, and other service providers.
- Listing Performance & Owner Collaboration: Collaborate closely with property owners, providing regular updates on bookings, guest feedback, and property status. Work with owners to optimize listing performance through updated descriptions, photos, amenity adjustments, and potentially dynamic pricing strategies.
- Booking & Schedule Management: Oversee booking calendars, manage reservation inquiries, and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure efficient turnovers between guests.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor guest reviews and property feedback to maintain high service standards and identify areas for improvement. Ensure listings are accurate and appealing.
What You'll Need (Qualifications & Skills):
- Proven experience in property management, hospitality management, short-term rental operations (Airbnb preferred), or a similar remote coordination role.
- Must have an active Airbnb account (either as a guest or host).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple listings and tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle guest issues and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient with online platforms (specifically Airbnb host tools), communication software (email, messaging apps), and ideally familiar with property management software (PMS) or channel managers.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with a remote team and local vendors.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate guest needs, potentially including some evening or weekend availability.
- Understanding of short-term rental best practices and guest expectations.
