Job summary

Magnus James is recruiting a Property Manager to join a well-established team in Bishops Cleeve, near Cheltenham. You will handle maintenance, inspections, tenancy records and renewals while building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.

Full training is provided, with ARLA study support and a friendly, supportive culture. The role offers a salary of £25,000–£30,000, with a quarterly bonus and additional annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or lettings environments is beneficial.
• ARLA qualification or interest in studying towards one is desirable.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential to build lasting relationships.
• Proactive, positive attitude with excellent organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance.
• Build relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and applicants.
• Handle enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate property inspections, visits and check-outs.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records.
• Support tenancy renewals and related administration.
• Market available properties and conduct viewings.
• Monitor property compliance and arrange safety certificates.
• Liaise with contractors to resolve issues promptly.
• Address day-to-day challenges with a calm, practical approach.

Are you a proactive and organised Property Manager looking to develop your career with a highly regarded independent agent? We're recruiting for a Property Manager to join a well-established and friendly team based in Bishops Cleeve, supporting a portfolio of residential properties across the village, Cheltenham and the surrounding area.

This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days are the same, with full training and support provided to help you develop within the role.

Your role as Property Manager:

• Managing scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance

What we're looking for from a Property Manager:

• Previous experience within property management, lettings, estate agency, customer service, administration or another customer-focused environment would be beneficial
• ARLA qualification or an interest in studying towards one is highly desirable
• Strong communication and people skills - building lasting relationships is key!
• A proactive, positive and can-do attitude
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Solid IT skills and good attention to detail
• A professional and personable approach
• Someone who enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to get stuck in
• Full UK driving licence is essential
