Experienced in residential lettings or property management and looking for a role offering genuine flexibility and long-term career development?

We're recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to join an established and highly regarded residential lettings business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with a strong customer service and problem-solving approach, looking to join a successful business offering comprehensive training, professional development and predominantly home-based working following successful completion of probation.

The Role

As a Property Manager, you will:

• Manage maintenance queries from private tenants by telephone and email
• Liaise with landlords, providing regular updates on maintenance works and resolutions
• Instruct approved contractors and arrange access for quotations, inspections and repairs
• Coordinate property compliance and safety checks
• Monitor and follow up compliance documentation, including gas safety certificates, electrical inspections and EPCs
• Ensure smoke and carbon monoxide alarm requirements are met
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, communications, compliance checks and actions taken
• Proactively progress maintenance issues and ensure works are dealt with efficiently
• Prioritise urgent maintenance and compliance matters within a busy workload
• Maintain strong communication with local branches and internal teams
• Deliver a professional and high level of service to landlords and tenants

Property Manager requirements:

• Proven experience within residential lettings or property management is essential
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident, professional and customer-focused manner
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
• IT proficient, including experience using Microsoft Office
• Ability to build effective relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues
• A team-focused approach with the ability to work independently
