An opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to oversee a local residential portfolio in Banbury, delivering compliant tenancy management, strong customer service, and effective property maintenance throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

We are recruiting a Property Manager to join a respected independent lettings business based in Banbury. This permanent role offers responsibility for managing a portfolio of residential properties while maintaining high service and compliance standards for landlords and tenants.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Managing a portfolio of residential tenancies from move-in to move-out
• Delivering a consistent, high-quality service to landlords and tenants
• Completing pre-let checks, inventories, and ensuring properties meet required standards
• Conducting check-ins and check-outs, including deposit negotiations and refunds
• Coordinating maintenance, refurbishment, and repair works with contractors
• Managing insurance claims when required
• Working with accounts to ensure rent is collected promptly
• Identifying opportunities to grow and optimise the managed portfolio
• Providing out-of-hours emergency cover on a rota basis

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Experience in residential property management preferred (circa 3 years advantageous but not essential)
• Propertymark Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential
• Strong understanding of residential lettings legislation and compliance
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
• Calm and effective under pressure
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
• Effective problem-solving ability
