Job summary

HomeForce Property Management Limited is growing in Edinburgh, offering a Trainee Property Manager role within a supportive team. You’ll handle landlord/tenant inquiries, coordinate maintenance via ServiceM8 and HomeForce’s systems, and learn compliance and property management best practices.

You will undergo formal training towards the SCQF Level 6 Certificate in Property Agency (Lettings) – Scotland, with a structured apprenticeship and ongoing mentoring.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Attention to detail is essential for data accuracy and compliance.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for landlords, tenants, contractors and clients via phone, email and the inhouse platform.
• Become a Super User of ServiceM8 and HomeForce Job Management System; support users and promote best practice.
• Triages support requests to Property Management, Maintenance and Compliance teams and external providers.
• Use Outlook/Teams to communicate with stakeholders and document meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance and inspections using HomeForce Job Management System.
• Support property viewings, tenant onboarding and landlord compliance processes.
• Maintain accurate data and generate reports; ensure data protection compliance.
