Job summary

MICM is seeking a Property Management Team Leader to guide and inspire a dedicated team of 10, reporting to the General Manager of Property Management. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on support, training, and quality service with no portfolio management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive residential PM experience, prior team leadership, and a strong ability to mentor, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in residential property management and a deep understanding of tenancy legislation.
• Previous team-leading role in Property Management with a track record of mentoring.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to handle demanding situations professionally.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities.
• Current Agent’s Representative Certificate is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and support a PM team including Property Managers and Consultants.
• Oversee daily property management operations with focus on quality and compliance.
• Keep Rental Providers updated, manage arrears, and ensure timely inspections.
• Represent clients at hearings and handle tribunal paperwork as required.
• Drive new business opportunities and minimise lost managements.
• Provide hands-on support by covering Property Managers when needed.
• Handle additional duties as a Team Leader.
