Job summary

Serco is seeking a Maintenance Operative to deliver general maintenance services across a designated portfolio. The role requires travel within the region and occasional UK travel, with a valid UK driving licence as a core requirement.

You will report to the Field Operations Manager and perform tasks to keep properties compliant and well-maintained, including reporting faults and managing materials, waste, and garden upkeep.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience required.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of property and repairs within the designated area.
• Report faults using the AORA IT system and ensure closure.
• Ensure properties are compliant and fit for purpose after tasks.
• Garden maintenance for assigned properties.
• Dispose of waste in approved areas and recycle where possible.
• Purchase materials from approved Serco suppliers with receipts.
