Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Operative in Birmingham to deliver general maintenance across a designated portfolio of properties. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £27,500 and Serco benefits.

You will report to the Field Operations Manager and be responsible for repairs, reporting faults via the AORA IT system, ensuring properties are compliant, and carrying out garden and waste duties.

Qualifications

• General DIY experience.
• A willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK (a valid UK driver's licence is essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance services to a designated area.
• Report faults using the AORA IT system to ensure faults are reported and closed.
• Ensure all properties are compliant and fit for purpose when completing tasks.
• Carry out garden maintenance duties for properties within remit.
• Manage waste disposal and materials purchasing per Serco procedures.
• Coordinate repairs with supervisors to meet KPI deadlines.
