Job summary

Serco is seeking a Maintenance Operative to deliver general maintenance across a portfolio of properties in the Nottingham area. A valid UK driving licence is essential, and travel within the region and occasionally the UK is expected.

The role is full-time with 37.5 hours per week and a salary circa £27,500. You will report to the Field Operations Manager and be responsible for maintenance tasks, fault reporting via the AORA IT system, and ensuring properties comply with contract standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance tasks.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Willingness and ability to travel within region and UK for plumbing/electrical maintenance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance services for designated properties.
• Report faults using the AORA IT system and ensure issues are closed.
• Ensure properties are compliant and fit for purpose after tasks.
• Carry out garden maintenance where required and manage waste disposal.
• Coordinate with supervisor on tool purchases and scheduling of works.
