Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking an enthusiastic Property Maintenance Manager to oversee up to 45 sites across West Cornwall and South Devon, ensuring high standards and exceptional service for guests.

You will lead maintenance projects, manage contractors, and uphold health and safety across pubs, inns and hotels, using strong communication and Excel to track progress. This hands-on role is based in the South West with regular site visits.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality sector experience, ideally within pubs, inns and hotels.
• Strong project management skills with ability to deliver on time and budget.
• Good working knowledge of Excel to record and track projects.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex information clearly.
• Experience in regulated and compliant environments.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and health and safety disciplines.
• Ability to negotiate, run tender processes, and deliver value for money.
• Located around South Devon or Cornwall.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 45 sites across West Cornwall and South Devon with high standards.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Property Maintenance Managerto oversee up to 45 sites across West Cornwall and South Devon, maintaining highstandards and exceptional levels of service to deliver experiences that delightour guests.

The successful applicant will have strong communicationskills and the ability to build dynamic relationships with a wide range ofpeople. We take great pride in our estate, which comprises over 260 propertiesacross the South West.

Our portfolio of pubs, inns, and hotels spans inspiringlocations, from Bath and Bristol to the Isles of Scilly. They include go-to destinationswhere good times are celebrated with quality food and drink, and vibrant hubsthat form part of the fabric of communities. This role is key to providing thesupport and maintenance required to ensure each establishment is a safe, warm,and inviting place to be.

About you

• Previous experience in the hospitality sector, ideallywithin pubs, inns and hotels.
• High level project management experience and the ability todemonstrate delivering projects on time and within budget.

Additional info:

This role is full time. You will work a 40 hour week between 09.00-17.00, and participate in the out of hours call out rota one week in five.
