Job summary

Concept Resources are recruiting an experienced Facilities Technical Officer to join a local authority's Housing Property Services team. This role is responsible for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of council-managed properties, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and maintained to required standards.

You will work with contractors, maintenance teams and internal departments to deliver effective property maintenance services and ensure statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, hard facilities management or housing asset management.
• Ability to ensure statutory compliance and health and safety standards.
• Strong coordination with contractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage cyclical servicing and maintenance schedules for buildings, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Review technical reports and arrange appropriate remedial works.
• Support planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes.
