Job summary

Davies Group seeks a Field Loss Adjuster in Scotland to manage domestic and commercial property claims from notification to settlement with autonomy and empathy. You will investigate, assess and settle losses while delivering professional service and strong client communication.

In this permanent full-time role, you’ll work within a remote, high-performing team across the UK, interpreting policy coverage, validating claims and producing high-quality reports for clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience handling property loss claims across domestic and commercial sectors.
• Progress towards or completion of a recognised industry qualification at Diploma level or above.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage own workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of claims from notification through to settlement with professional, efficient service.
• Manage a varied caseload of domestic and commercial property claims.
• Conduct site visits, investigations and assessments to determine loss cause and validity.
• Provide regular updates to policyholders, stakeholders and clients with clear communication.
• Interpret policy coverage and validate claims accurately and fairly.
• Produce high-quality reports and recommendations per client requirements.
• Manage suppliers and repair networks to achieve positive outcomes.
• Identify fraud risks and escalation where appropriate.
• Maintain audit-ready claim files and collaborate with Davies colleagues to deliver service.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve service and growth.
