Qualifications

• UK-qualified Solicitor with 0-3 years' PQE and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Serving statutory notices and advising on their validity and conditionality.
• Advising on and dealing with contentious lease renewals, termination notices and associated proceedings.
• Interpreting and enforcing commercial lease obligations.
• Handling rent arrears recovery and matters involving tenant insolvency.
• Advising on and pursuing possession of commercial premises.
• Dealing with service charge disputes.
• Acting in dilapidations matters, including notice requirements and related advisory work.
• Assisting with a broad range of commercial landlord and tenant disputes.
• Developing client relationships and delivering concise, commercially focused legal advice.

Are you a 0-3 PQE Solicitor looking to develop your career in property litigation?

Our client is a leading international law firm with a well-established real estate litigation practice. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join the Manchester team, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality commercial property disputes.

The Role

You will join a busy and collaborative real estate disputes team, with your work primarily focused on commercial landlord and tenant disputes. The client base is diverse and includes property management and development companies, housebuilders, health trusts, government bodies, owner-occupiers and major institutions, both in the UK and internationally.

As the team continues to grow its property litigation offering, this represents an excellent opportunity for a junior Solicitor to gain high-quality experience and build a strong platform for long-term career progression.

About You

• UK-qualified Solicitor with 0-3 years' PQE and a strong academic and professional background.
• Experience in commercial property litigation or landlord and tenant disputes. However, the firm will give serious consideration to Solicitors with a strong commercial or civil litigation background who are looking to make the move into property litigation.
