Walker Morris LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join our established Property Litigation team in Leeds. You’ll work on high-quality commercial property disputes for top-tier clients while developing your leadership experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising developers, landowners, insurers and commercial clients on complex title indemnity claims and development-related real property disputes
• Handling matters involving rights to light, restrictive covenants, mines and minerals, easements, access issues and other title or land constraints affecting development schemes
• Supporting many of the firm’s key clients, including high-profile commercial organisations
• Handling a mix of private sector and government work, offering variety and impact
• Providing day-to-day supervision and mentorship to junior team members
• Contributing to a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our established Property Litigation team.

You’ll work on high-quality commercial property disputes for top-tier clients while developing your leadership experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys not only delivering excellent legal work but also supporting and developing the people around them. You’ll join a collaborative and well-regarded team, working on a broad range of high-quality commercial property disputes, with a particular focus on title indemnity claims and development-related real property issues.

What you’ll be doing:

• Advising developers, landowners, insurers and commercial clients on complex title indemnity claims and development-related real property disputes
• Handling matters involving rights to light, restrictive covenants, mines and minerals, easements, access issues and other title or land constraints affecting development schemes

What we are looking for:

• An experienced Senior Associate with a strong background in title indemnity claims and/or development-related real property disputes, including rights to light, restrictive covenants, mines and minerals, easements, access issues and other title or land constraints affecting development schemes
• Strong technical and commercial skills
• Exposure to complex, high-value transactions
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Someone who takes pride in supervising and developing others and possesses a collaborative and approachable style
