Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading UK law firm to recruit a Property Litigation Associate to join its national real estate disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-4 PQE solicitor to develop their career within property litigation and work alongside experienced litigators on a varied caseload.

You’ll advise a diverse client base, including major retailers, developers, landlords and public sector organisations, on a broad range of commercial property disputes.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a wide range of real estate litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals and dilapidations.
• Handle possession claims, rent recovery, forfeiture and service charge disputes.
• Address property-related insolvency, restrictive covenants and land registration issues.
• Assist with rights to light and other complex real estate disputes.
• Prepare legal documentation, conduct research and liaise with clients, counsel and stakeholders.
• Manage elements of your own caseload with supervision and support business development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-4 PQE solicitor to develop their career within a well-established team, working alongside experienced property litigators on a varied and high-quality caseload.

You’ll advise a diverse client base, including major retailers, developers, landlords and public sector organisations, on a broad range of commercial property disputes. The role offers exposure to complex matters, early responsibility and the opportunity to build strong client relationships in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a wide range of real estate litigation matters, including:

• Landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, break notices and dilapidations.
• Possession claims, rent recovery, forfeiture and service charge disputes.
• Property-related insolvency, restrictive covenants and land registration issues.
• Rights to light and other complex real estate disputes.
• Preparing legal documentation, undertaking research and liaising with clients, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Managing elements of your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Supporting business development, team initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

You’ll work closely with senior colleagues while developing your technical expertise and confidence as a property litigation solicitor.
