Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Property Litigation Associate to join its national real estate disputes team in Birmingham or Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-4 PQE solicitor to develop their career within a well-established team, working alongside experienced property litigators on a varied and high-quality caseload.

Qualifications

• NQ-4 years' PQE in property litigation or real estate disputes.
• Genuine interest in developing a career within property litigation.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute to the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Handle landlord/tenant disputes, including lease renewals, break notices and dilapidations.
• Manage possession claims, rent recovery, forfeiture and service charge issues.
• Advise on property-related insolvency, restrictive covenants and land registrations.
• Assist with rights to light and other complex real estate disputes.
• Prepare legal documentation, undertake research and liaise with clients, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Manage elements of your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Support business development, team initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
