Job summary

Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers, part of the Connells Group, seeks a Senior Property Lawyer to join our Saint Leonards team. You will handle a personal residential conveyancing caseload with around 50 files, acting as the main contact for clients and third parties while maintaining high compliance standards.

We offer hybrid working, ongoing training, and uncapped bonus potential. The role provides support from experienced Conveyancers and Team Managers within a leading UK property services

Responsibilities

• Manage own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Act as primary contact for clients, agents, lenders and third parties.
• Draft/review contracts, transfer deeds, Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and other docs.

What You'll Be Doing You'll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, typically handling around 50 files, ensuring every transaction progresses efficiently and compliantly.

• Managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction through to post-completion.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and other legal documentation.
• Conducting searches, due diligence, exchanges, completions and post-completion activities while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring all files, records and client communications are maintained to the highest quality and compliance standards. • Strong knowledge of residential property law, conveyancing procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and client management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Law Degree, LPC, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or FCILEX qualifications are advantageous, alongside experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications. £45,000 OTE with uncapped bonus potential.
