Job summary

Associated British Ports in Cardiff is seeking a Property Development Manager to shape our regional portfolio, identify opportunities and drive development across a varied land and property base.

You will lead appraisal, planning and delivery activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage external consultants and build strong stakeholder relationships to unlock sustainable rental value and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Real Estate, Property Development or related field; MRICS/MRTPI preferred.
• 1–5 years post-qualification experience in property development.
• Strong financial analysis and appraisal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess development and acquisition opportunities.
• Prepare appraisals, viability studies and business cases.
• Coordinate teams and progress schemes through planning and delivery.
• Engage with local authorities, landowners and stakeholders.
