Job summary

Pembrokeshire County Council seeks an experienced Senior Property & Development Manager to support the Head of Property, Regeneration and Economic Development. This senior strategic role focuses on optimising the Council's property portfolio and delivering the asset management agenda.

Hybrid working available (2 days in the office, 3 days remote); full UK driving licence required. MRICS/FRICS qualified professionals with portfolio management and regeneration experience are invited to apply.

Qualifications

Significant experience in strategic asset management or corporate property.
Strong knowledge of property acquisitions, disposals, development and valuations.
Experience managing a property portfolio and/or professional property team.
Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within a local authority, public sector or similar complex property environment is desirable.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic asset management and property strategy initiatives.
Manage estate optimisation, rationalisation and development programmes.
Lead on property acquisitions, disposals and investment opportunities.
Oversee property valuation activity and ensure compliance with RICS and CIPFA requirements.
Prepare business cases, options appraisals and investment strategies.
Monitor property performance, income generation and capital receipts.
Provide senior professional property advice to Directors, senior officers and elected Members.
Support major regeneration and corporate property projects.
Lead and develop a professional property team.
Deputise for the Head of Property when required.
