Job summary

Templer Homebuild is seeking a detail-oriented housing compliance professional to support the Building Safety & Compliance team. The role involves inspecting properties, identifying defects and hazards, and assisting with mutual exchanges, tenant permissions, and Section 20 work.

You will collaborate with residents, surveyors, contractors and legal teams to ensure compliant handling of cases. The candidate should have strong communication and organisational skills, be proficient with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, property, facilities management or construction.
• Good technical understanding of buildings, property defects and alterations.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property inspections and identify defects and housing hazards.
• Help to manage mutual exchanges, tenant permissions, Section 20 consultations, no-access cases and wayleave agreements.
• Work with residents, surveyors, contractors and legal teams to ensure cases are handled professionally and in line with legislation and policy.
