WE Talent is seeking a Property Claims Handler in Chelmsford to manage a varied caseload of property claims from notification through to settlement. You will assess policy coverage, coordinate with loss adjusters, surveyors and contractors, and keep customers informed throughout the process in a role that values professional service and fair outcomes.

Salary ranges from £33,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, with a performance-related bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience handling property insurance claims.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage property claims from first notification through settlement.
• Review policy coverage and investigate the circumstances of each claim.
• Gather damage information, estimates and invoices for assessment.
• Coordinate with loss adjusters, surveyors and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records and update reserves and diaries.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and pursue recoveries where appropriate.
