Job summary

FNZ is hiring a Property Administrator to support the delivery of commercial property transactions and customer-focused services across our pensions business in Salisbury. You’ll work with solicitors, valuers, lenders, tenants and internal teams to coordinate property and pension activities.

This 6-month FTC offers training and development opportunities, with a pathway to a permanent role subject to business needs and performance, and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with solicitors, valuers, lenders, tenants, managing agents, financial advisers and internal teams to support property and pension activities.
  • Administer end-to-end commercial property transactions held within pension schemes.
  • Process property-related invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with financial reconciliations, including rent receipts, property bank accounts, tenant payments and supplier invoices.
  • Support VAT administration and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain professional communications with all stakeholders and ensure proper records in systems.
  • Investigate and resolve payment, reconciliation and account queries promptly.
  • Work to SLAs and quality standards while pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Deliver excellent customer service via written and telephone communication.
  • Ensure customers are treated fairly throughout the property transaction lifecycle.

We’re hiring a Property Administrator to support the delivery of commercial property transactions and customer-focused services across our pensions business. You’ll play a key role in managing important processes, building relationships with external stakeholders, and ensuring we meet regulatory and service excellence standards.

What you’ll be doing:
  • You’ll work closely with a range of professionals including solicitors, valuers, lenders, tenants, managing agents, financial advisers and internal finance and administration teams to coordinate key property and pension-related activities.
  • Support the end-to-end administration of commercial property transactions held within pension schemes.
  • Process property-related invoices and ensure payments are made accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with financial reconciliations, including rent receipts, property bank accounts, tenant payments and supplier invoices.
  • Support VAT administration and reporting activities, ensuring records are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with solicitors, valuers, financial advisers, lenders, tenants, managing agents and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records across internal systems and ensure activities comply with legislation, HMRC requirements and internal policies.
  • Investigate and resolve payment, reconciliation and account queries in a timely manner.
  • Work to service level agreements, quality standards and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through both written and telephone communication.
  • You’ll also play a key role in making sure customers are treated fairly and that their needs are clearly understood throughout the lifecycle of their property transactions.

It’s a bonus if you also have:
  • Previous experience in property, financial services or SIPPs
  • A good understanding of commercial property or landlord/tenant processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Progress towards a Life and Pensions Foundation Certificate or similar qualification
