Job summary

The role involves managing the commercial and cost aspects of the Cambridge Relocation project, a flagship project for Anglian Water, from inception to closeout. You'll report directly to the Project Director and work on all project matters, challenging current commercial thinking and agreements to ensure positive and lasting impacts across the Alliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing robust estimates aligned with project scope, considering all risks and opportunities.
  • Managing procurement processes, developing strategies, and ensuring correct tender procedures.
  • Managing subcontractors according to contract requirements, including compliance, payments, and program submissions.
  • Maintaining accurate cost management with live forecasts and actual vs. estimated costs.
  • Keeping trusted records for audits and financial transparency.
  • Developing processes for standardization across the commercial team.
  • Mentoring team members to enhance their commercial knowledge and experience.
