Job summary

SP Energy Networks is looking for a Works Project Administrator to support delivery of major projects from Edinburgh/Telferton. You will handle a wide range of admin tasks, safety walkarounds, access control, fleet management, and procurement using SAP and IBUY.

The role requires solid planning, organisational and communication skills, plus a background in multi-strand project support and strong IT proficiency with Office tools. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• For this role, you will have a Business Management or Administration qualification; SAP experience preferred.
• You will show strong administration skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You will have excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, and be able to work well in a team.
• An understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation is also required; Fire Marshal training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support to enable delivery of key projects.
• Conduct Health & Safety walkarounds and complete related documentation.
• Arrange security passes for new agency staff through access control and return passes for leavers.
• Maintain fleet vehicle tracker, coordinate pool vehicles and telematics cards.
• Raise Purchase Orders via SAP and IBUY for PPE, stationery and Sub Station keys.
• Register and issue Smart Keys after security checks to internal staff and external contractors.
• Coordinate archiving activities and manage IT equipment and PPE orders.
• Arrange travel and hotel bookings via SAP Concur; manage printers and consumables.
• Provide support call taking during storm events if required.
