Job summary

Vacancy Filler is seeking a Project Worker Sessional in Newcastle upon Tyne (NE4 6US) on a part-time, contract basis, paid £12.71–£13.86 per hour. The role supports Changing Lives Housing & Homelessness Services by providing information, advice and guidance to help service users live independently and move toward a brighter future.

As a frontline worker, you will engage with individuals facing homelessness or at risk, offering practical support and encouragement to access safe accommodation

Qualifications

About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services

A safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.

About the Job

The Support Worker plays a crucial role within Changing Lives, providing information, advice and guidance. Undertaken via referral and direct individual support, the Support Workers' aim is to enable service users to live independently and work towards overcoming the interconnected problems that lead them into accessing our services.
