Turning Tides in Worthing is seeking a dedicated Project Worker to support residents in a high-support accommodation environment. You will contribute to developing and evaluating the service, working with individuals including those who have experienced homelessness, substances use, or mental health challenges.
The role requires a compassionate, person-centred approach and strong communication with residents and partners. Shifts include weekends, with a total 30 hours per week.
Providing high support accommodation, with options for tailored, specialist provision; onsite activity and multiagency support, this service will be a genuine place of opportunity. You will be part of a team, tasked with developing, shaping and evaluating the service to meet the unique needs and aspirations of clients, including those who are actively using substances, have a dual diagnosis or mental health conditions or have experienced multiple exclusions from services. We work closely with the local authority with the aim of ending the need to sleep rough or use insecure or temporary accommodation. We offer a personalised approach to work with people to manage risk and reduce associated harm from substance use and multiple exclusion. This accommodation will provide a vital opportunity to each individual, to provide a path away from homelessness.
If you’re ready to embark on a rewarding journey of impact and growth, we want to hear from you!
