Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Colchester, Essex, is recruiting a Project Worker to support people with disabilities, delivering one-to-one care, risk assessments, and group activities. This on-site role offers training, development, and a values-driven environment at a not-for-profit organisation.

You will join a compassionate team, helping individuals to build independence and reach their potential, with a strong focus on safety, well-being, and person-centred support.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities or high needs.
  • Empathetic and able to relate to people with diverse needs.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

  • Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential.
  • Provide one-to-one support when needed.
  • Promote safety through risk assessments and regular reviews.
  • Assess needs and update support plans.

Project Worker

£14.57 per hour

Your role
  • Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential
