Job summary

The Society of St James is a dynamic charity and housing association based in Hampshire, delivering recovery-focused accommodation services to adults and youths facing homelessness and substance use issues.

This role contributes to a new person-centered Recovery Service in Portsmouth, using behavioural change and trauma-informed approaches including Acceptance & Commitment therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, and related activities.

Qualifications

The Impact You'll Make

You will be part of a team that is developing an innovative person-centered Recovery Service based in Portsmouth. The program is designed for clients who wish to address their drug/alcohol use whilst remaining in their local community, using a Behaviour Change model and trauma-informed interventions (such as Acceptance & Commitment therapy groups, Mindfulness & Self Compassion based practices, one-to-one sessions, Arts and Crafts, Education, Acupuncture, and Fitness Activities).
