Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Project Worker to support clients moving from 24-hour hostel services into semi-independent accommodation across eight Westminster properties. You will manage a caseload of around 10 clients, and provide practical and emotional support to help them develop independence and stability.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with one weekend per month on a rota. Interviews via Teams or in person.

Qualifications

• Experience working with homeless clients or vulnerable adults.
• Experience in supported housing, hostels or similar services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident managing a caseload independently.
• Comfortable working across multiple locations and on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of around 10 clients.
• Provide regular 1-2-1 support and practical assistance.
• Support clients with independent living skills and accommodation.
• Assist with housing, benefits, health, substance misuse and other support needs.
• Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations.
• Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.

PROJECT WORKER - WESTMINSTER

Location: Westminster - working across 8 properties

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: 2-month minimum assignment with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of around 10 clients.


• Provide regular 1-2-1 support and practical assistance.


• Support clients with independent living skills and maintaining their accommodation.


• Assist with housing, benefits, health, substance misuse and other support needs.


• Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations.


• Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.


• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.


• Work across 8 buildings, so being comfortable walking between locations is essential.

About You

• Previous experience working with homeless clients, rough sleepers or vulnerable adults.


• Experience within supported housing, hostels or similar services.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Confident managing a caseload independently.


• Comfortable working across multiple locations and being on your feet throughout the day.


• Person-centred, proactive and able to build positive relationships with clients.
