Job summary

Look Ahead Care, Support and Housing Ltd is seeking a Project Worker for our Supported Accommodation Services in Cardiff. The role is full-time and permanent, based across key housing sites in the Cardiff area.

You will work in a small team to provide housing-related support to individuals aged 21+ who are experiencing homelessness and addressing substance use. You will help create achievable support plans and run workshops to build independence.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in housing or homelessness support is desirable.

A full-time, permanent, Project Worker within our Supported Accommodation Services in Cardiff.

Dyfrig House operates between Cardiff Central and Newport Road – As you will be required to work across these locations, a Full UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

About the role

This is a Project Worker role based across our supported housing services in the Cardiff area (Fitzhamon Embankment, Ninian Rd and Newport Road).

Working in a team, you will provide specialist support to individuals aged 21+ who are experiencing homelessness and are motivated to address their alcohol and substance use issue. You will provide housing related supported to equip our customers with the knowledge, skills and tools that they need to be able to live independent lives. You will also support our customers in engaging with recovery & treatment services by creating achievable support plans and facilitating appropriate workshops.
