Job summary

Urenco is seeking a Technical Safety Specialist (Project Support) to implement safety frameworks across a global project portfolio. You will support hazard studies, risk assessments, and safety verification across nuclear, chemical, electrical, and process disciplines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Design Authority and R&D teams to integrate safety requirements into designs, reviewing safety deliverables, and ensuring compliance with legislation and Urenco standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of technical safety concepts and risk assessment.
• Experience with safety studies such as HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA.
• Knowledge of applicable HSE legislation and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technical safety across projects and programmes.
• Support hazard and risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review engineering documents and safety deliverables for compliance.
• Support commissioning and safety-critical equipment verification.
