Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Project Support Officer to join the Lead Provider Collaborative (LPC) Commissioning Team. Our work encompasses the following LPC areas:


  • Level Up - (Tier 4) Specialized Mental Health Services for Young People in Cheshire and Merseyside
  • EmpowerED - Specialized Adult Eating Disorder (AED) services across the North West
  • Helix - Specialized Inpatient Perinatal Mental Health Services in Cheshire and Merseyside

The successful candidate will be passionate about improving specialized mental health services and will support this mission through their role in the LPC Commissioning Team. They will assist in delivering the team’s aims, objectives, and commissioning intentions, providing high-quality project support to a team that includes commissioners, project managers, and senior clinicians.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting managers in planning, organizing, and managing project activities, including scheduling, resource coordination, and information management.
  2. Maintaining appropriate documentation for each project in line with protocols.
  3. Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  4. Developing and distributing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  5. Facilitating communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  6. Identifying project risks and issues, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  7. Supporting the resolution of project conflicts and issues promptly to minimize impact on deliverables.
  8. Ensuring all project activities meet quality standards and supporting reviews for compliance.
