Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a mid-level project controls professional to support complex engineering programmes in Bath, UK. You will apply hands-on planning and scheduling to live projects, developing schedules, tracking milestones and dependencies, and providing accurate progress updates to project managers.

You will work in a structured environment across cost, risk and performance data, with reporting KPIs and data quality, collaborating with engineering, finance and delivery

Qualifications

• British citizenship required due to client site
• Hands-on experience in project planning or scheduling
• Evidence of working with schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, progress updates or schedule-related data
• Experience in a project, programme, engineering, delivery, PMO or project controls environment

Build the next stage of your project controls career on complex engineering programmes where schedules, cost, risk, resource and performance data genuinely matter.

This is a developing to mid-level role suited to someone with hands‑on experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls or schedule‑led project reporting.

You will be joining a structured project environment where you can keep building your technical capability while supporting live engineering delivery.

Essential requirements

• British citizenship, required due to the nature of work at the client site
• Hands‑on experience in project planning or scheduling
• Evidence of working with project schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, progress updates or schedule‑related project data
• Experience in a project, programme, engineering, delivery, PMO or project controls environment

Salary and rewards

• £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Useful experience

• Resource loading, cost loading, Schedule Risk Analysis, forecasting, variance analysis or project financial reporting
• Tools such as P6, Primavera, SAP, ARM, Oracle Unifier, MS Project, Excel, Power BI or similar
• Experience from engineering, defence, aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing or another structured project environment is a bonus but is not required
