Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for a developing to mid-level project planner/scheduler to join live engineering delivery programmes in Stevenage. You will build on hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls within a structured environment.

You will work with project managers, engineering and finance teams on schedule development, milestones, dependencies, resource and cost data, and KPI reporting, helping to drive delivery insight and data quality.

Qualifications

• British citizenship, required due to the nature of work at the client site.
• Hands-on experience in project planning or scheduling.
• Evidence of working with project schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, progress updates or schedule-related project data.
• Experience in a project, programme, engineering, delivery, PMO or project controls environment.

Job description

Build the next stage of your project controls career on complex engineering programmes where schedules, cost, risk, resource and performance data genuinely matter.

This is a developing to mid-level role suited to someone with hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls or schedule-led project reporting.

You will be joining a structured project environment where you can keep building your technical capability while supporting live engineering delivery.

Salary and rewards

• £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

• Tools such as P6, Primavera, SAP, ARM, Oracle Unifier, MS Project, Excel, Power BI or similar
• Experience from engineering, defence, aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing or another structured project environment is a bonus but is not required
