Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join the project controls team and help deliver complex projects. You will lead risk identification, assessment and reporting across the project lifecycle, translating risk into actionable steps for project teams and stakeholders.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, Planning, Cost and Engineering teams to ensure robust risk management, with regular dashboards and escalation where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project or programme risk management.
• Experience in project controls, infrastructure, construction, engineering, energy or major capital projects.
• Solid understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining risk registers.
• Ability to facilitate risk workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong grasp of probability, impact and risk exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project risk management process from identification to mitigation and close-out.
• Facilitate regular risk workshops with project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project and programme risk registers.
• Ensure risks are clearly defined, categorized and owned.
• Assess risk probability, impact and exposure consistently.
• Collaborate with risk owners on mitigation and response plans.
• Provide risk reporting and trend analysis to senior stakeholders.
