Job summary

Ignite Talent Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established North East construction business. The role oversees commercial management on major projects, typically £20m+, from procurement through final accounts.

The candidate will have proven experience with CVRs, forecasting, subcontract management, variations and final accounts, and a strong grasp of JCT contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercially managing projects £20m+
• Proficient with CVRs, forecasting and project financial reporting
• Strong experience managing subcontracted works and final accounts
• Good understanding of JCT contracts and related processes
• Ability to manage commercial risk and identify opportunities across the project lifecycle
• Ability to work with Project Managers, Site Teams, clients and subcontractors

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of major construction projects from procurement to final account
• Lead CVRs, forecasting and financial reporting
• Oversee subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with PMs, site teams, clients and consultants
