Project Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy required for an established multidisciplinary built environment consultancy in Liverpool.
The business provides professional consultancy services across the built environment, including quantity surveying, cost management, project management, building surveying, facilities management and wider technical and strategic services. Its UK work spans sectors including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial and logistics, government and other property-related markets.
The role provides the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary consultancy rather than being restricted to a single contractor or project type. The business has established client relationships across a range of sectors and delivers both individual projects and wider programmes of work.
There is also a clear emphasis on professional development, with the organisation supporting learning through CPD sessions, development programmes and knowledge-sharing across its teams.
As Project Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy, you will provide commercial and cost management support throughout the project lifecycle, helping clients maintain control of expenditure, procurement and commercial risk.
The role will involve working alongside clients and wider consultant teams, providing accurate commercial advice and ensuring projects are properly managed from a cost perspective.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a professional consultancy environment. A minimum of around three years' relevant PQS/QS experience would be suitable, with candidates operating at Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level also considered.
A relevant degree, HNC/HND or equivalent construction/commercial qualification is preferred, with RICS membership or a clear route towards chartership advantageous.
Experience across one or more of the consultancy's key sectors would be relevant, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, retail, industrial/logistics, hospitality or public sector projects.
This role would suit a commercially capable Quantity Surveyor who wants broader exposure to clients, projects and sectors within a consultancy environment. It offers the opportunity to build on existing QS experience while working across a varied professional workload in Liverpool.
