Job summary

Upfront Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a multidisciplinary built environment consultancy. The role offers exposure across sectors and clients within a consultancy setting.

You will provide commercial and cost management support through the project lifecycle, preparing cost plans, pricing, procurement support, and cost control to keep projects on budget. A minimum of around three years PQS/QS experience and a relevant degree are preferred; salary

Qualifications

• Minimum ~3 years PQS/QS experience in consultancy or professional environment.
• Degree or equivalent construction qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, estimates and commercial reports
• Advise clients on project costs and financial considerations
• Support procurement and tendering activities
• Review tender returns and provide commercial recommendations
• Manage project costs throughout the delivery process
• Monitor expenditure against budgets
• Assess variations and changes
• Manage valuations and payment processes
