Job summary

Hitachi Energy has an exciting Senior Buyer (Project Execution) role in Stone, UK. You will drive procurement activities for key projects, coordinating with suppliers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, timely supply of goods and services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS).
• Proven procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for the Service Business to meet project demands.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure procurement activities follow local policy and contract terms.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve best project value.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to milestones.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues proactively.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting; coordinate with operations on POs and contracts.
