Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking experienced Project Principals/Project Managers to lead major FEED and Detailed Design projects across the UK and Europe within the Energy sector. You will drive delivery of complex, multidisciplinary design work while enhancing project management practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.

You'll bring a proven track record in delivering complex projects for consultancy or engineering environments, with strong leadership, communication and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualifications required (APM PMQ/PRINCE2/PMP).
• Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record delivering multidisciplinary design projects in energy/consulting environments.
• Knowledge of change, risk, schedule and cost management and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary design projects (civils, cable, substation, protection & control, secondary systems).
• Ensure delivery to scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Establish clear, effective communication across project teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks for client and business.
